Bank Street News

“A Taste of Bank Street”

“A Taste of Bank Street” was an open house where I invited everyone to come taste the quality of our food and give guests ideas of how I can create the space into an event for any occasion. My team and worked very hard these last couple of months to prepare by creating new menus, logos, website and renovating the space. This was a great opportunity for me to showcase my work to friends, family, Stamford residents and potential clients. It was a very successful night! Guests also enjoyed the songs from James Daniel Entertainment.
The Looks…..

I designed the main dining area into “4 Looks” with specialty linens, place settings, chair treatments, printed materials and centerpieces to give people (especially brides + grooms) an idea of how I can design their weddings. I wanted to show people that Bank Street is very versatile and how there are endless ways to design a look that is personalized for every client and event.  Each look was also accompanied by a matching wedding cake display designed by Sweet Lisa’s Exquisite Cakes. This really showed brides + grooms the complete package.

Classic Crystals……..

Vintage Chic…….

Our boardroom was designed for a private corporate holiday dinner. I decorated the tables with pillar candles, red ornaments and garland. I also did a subtle chair treatment with red ribbon and greenery on some of the chairs. The fireplace was laminated with candles.

Sweetheart table….
On the balcony, I designed a sweetheart table for a bride + groom. The table was fall inspired with plum and gold colors.

On the main floor high tops were set up to give corporations ideas of how the space can work for their company. In the front, I set up a floating candle display that is perfect for corporate events because  it is a neutral sophisticated design. The vault was created into a photo booth ….fun for everyone.
Butlered hors d’oeuvres….
I wanted to give guests a chance to taste some of the favorite butlered hors d’oeuvres that I have on my menus. These included watermelon topped with goat cheese + mint, scallops wrapped in bacon, mini chicken skewers, keftedes (Greek style meatballs), Mediterranean bruschetta, and Ekmek (greek style dessert) My menus are Mediterranean inspired but I also offer a variety of options and am always open to creating new items personalized for the client and their event.
Entertaining in style……

XO Nikki
