On Thursday October 16th, almost 200 people came out to support Meg Starson and raise money for Hope in Motion at Stamford Hospital’s Bennett Cancer Center. The Bennett Cancer Center provides more than just medical treatment for their patients. “For over 20 years, the Center has provided the highest standard of care in the area to our community’s cancer patients and their families in a warm and supportive environment. We are proud to say that 100% of the funds raised through Hope in Motion go directly to sustain programs and services at the Bennett Cancer Center, Exercise and nutrition programs, Integrative medicine; yoga, Reiki, massage, Transitions survivorship program, Patient transportation services, Educational programs.” (hopeinmotion.org)
While I was walking for Meg’s Legs Team at the Hope in Motion Cancer Walk back in June, I saw an overwhelming support for Meg from her friends and family. I decided it would be fun to gather everyone together and throw a huge party while also raising money for Hope in Motion. Through sponsorship, support, raffle and ticket sales, we are proud to announce that we have raised $10,317 for Meg’s Legs Team!
We want to thank everyone for all their love and support, you are an inspiration Meg, we love you!
